Hey, yeah Vitamin C has been known to help people.
I think it's good that you are trying to find answers of how to stay off of Heroin.
I used to be pretty bad on drugs myself, and I know it will sound "Hippy" but Meditation actually worked really well.
I also strongly believe; in my proffessional (Counselor) and personal opinion, that sport is the most important thing to practice when trying to stay off of drugs.
When you are addicted to something, chemicals build up in your head, so you feel like you need a release somehow. When people take drugs it's to get that release.
However when you play sport, especially physical sports. It gives you the same (sometimes stronger) release of endorphins releving stress.
Your mind has the best drugs in the world, and can produce the strongest feelings and releases. More then what unintelligent, drug addicted dealers can make.
Your brain produces these chemicals just from happiness and your actions, and they don't give you the harsh side effects that drugs give you!
I actually also think it's important for you to see some type of counselor (whether it's a psychologist, drug and alcohol counselor, or doctor etc,) because you need to talk to someone, because all addictions come from your mind.
You are addicted to the chemicals that are released when taking drugs, therefore your mind has also became addicted or "used to", the chemicals that are being released.
So in order for you to change your habits or "addiction". You need to change your way of thinking.
Which can only happen if you talk to someone who can explain this stuff to you, and give you solutions for actions you can do.
I don't know if you already know this or not but; our brains are made up like a giant spider web, this is called a Nuero Net, this nero net contains between one billion and one trillion nuerons. These neurons release electrical impulses to eachother that kind of "switch" certain nuerons on and off, these neurons store memories, emotions, and they effect our mood, and determine whether we feel sad or happy.
When our brain releases large amounts of chemicals from stress or drugs, they effect the electrical impulses to the neurons; turning whole neurons off, and others on, which actually changes the pattern or alignment of your brain; so that your brain and way of thinking actually changes gradually to make you become used to these chemicals and become "comfortable" or "addicted" to these stressfull emotions being released, and the depressed behaviour that is created from them.
To change our brains back to normal, (although they can never be changed "back" or the damage "reversed", it can become more stable and eventually healthy (normal) again)
we need to change our ways of thinking, in order to change the types of chemicals that are being released.
At the moment from the addiction, stressfull chemicals will be flowing through your brain regularly. That cause you to feel like you need a release, in pain, and anxious.
When you slowly learn more about your brain and how to control these chemicals, you will come to learn just from changing your thoughts, you will change the chemicals your brain is releasing.
They can be changed to produce endorphin or dopamine chemicals, so that you can just be naturally happy, and you will feel dramatically more joyfull and energised and get stressed ALOT less easily.
When you are on drugs, you don't relise how happy you used to be, or how unhappy you have become, and you can't really imagine what it's like to feel that happy or those chemicals. Because the drugs that you take create a lot more stressfull chemicals, that cause you to feel unhappy whenever you aren't taking those drugs (you don't realise they are doing this. Because you get the effects slowly while you are out of it from the drugs.
So eventually when your brain has became used to working by pumping stressfull chemicals constantly, you don't even relise it's any different!).
There are many solutions and this isn't actually that hard (or not as much as people make out on TV) to give up.
Remember not to take this addiction personally (I know that sounds funny) but don't look at it as an emotional/psychological addiction problem.
If you can approach the problem as unemotional as I write this. If you can look at it as a problem, and not as something personally attached to you. Then you will be able to deal with this problem more effectively.
It's all just ultimatley emotions that you have to get through.
It's just like a big fight of emotions in your head for a little while..... and then your right, and your life starts getting better, more then you literally could possibly (when on drugs) imagine!
I can tell you it's definatley worth it, and that whether you are seriously addicted like I was, or just take it every now and then;
it is worth getting off of it, because it dosen't just make your brain mentally unstable worst and worst every time you take a hit.
But it simply only surves to make you more and more stressed and depressed and sad because that's all it's doing. It is creating these chemicals in your brain to make you take more to get rid of them, then it releases a small amount of dopamines for a short term, then releases even more stronger stress chemicals for a longer term. So what's the point of it then!
Being happy and content releases larger and more effective chemicals for a long term!
You are no different to me as far as an addiction goes. When I think of another person who is addicted to drugs, then and I think how I am now and how happy I am because people helped me.
I desperatley want other people like you, to realise that it's worth fighting and getting off the addiction and having a better life, no matter what circumstances your in financially, emotionally, lifestyle etc You can still have an incredible and worth while life, if you choose to get off these drugs! I want to be that "other person" for you, like the people who helped me stay strong and realise theres better, to get off drugs.
I say all of this because I think that NO ONE should live such a crappy life like this!
I want to be able to share what it feels like to be "naturally" happy and to not need drugs. Because I know what the life I had was like, and I know what the life I now have is like.
So I want anyone who's living like I was to share what it's like to feel what it's like when they are off of drugs!
So please for your sake keep going, don't give up and make sure to tell yourself that you don't care how much pain it brings you, you won't give up; your getting rid of this sh#t out of your system!
Because you will be benefiting your life and making your life become alot better!
You could look into things like boxing, and martial arts for physicall sports, because they help you alot more then some sports because they are physical; which clears out more toxins and stressfull chemicals, it clears out your mind, and it pumps more endorphins into your body.
Or you could look into learning about Psychology and Nuero Science to learn more about your brain and human behaviour.
Also talking helps more then you may comprehend, as talking releases large amounts of chemicals, that help your brain change the types of chemicals being released.
Meditations are also excellent for that, and I strongly think you should take up a course if you can get the time. Something in what you like. You could try some painting or writing because that works your subconcious mind and lets you express yourself and relax more, and you could go for jogs every now and then (of course any of these sports you shouldn't do untill you have come off your main "coming down" stage. Check with your doctor to see if you are better enough to do physical activity!)
Good Luck! I sincerly hope this helps you, your life will become alot better, and because I have I know that you can get off this, so endure it and keep going strong, you can beat it! :]

Yes. A friend told me that and had lots of experience with it. Methadone maintenance makes it much harder to give up heroin. Once you are off it, never do it again since you may not be able to get off it again. See this site for the highest natural source of vitamin C (camu camu fruit) with other qualities than can help you withdrawel. I know of nothing more physically addictive than heroin.

Please check into a rehab center. Heroine is no joke and there is no quick fix, like eating when you're too high on pot.
Please go to a rehab center and talk to someone you trust about your problem. You won't be judged, sweetheart. We all have our vices and I'm certainly not one to throw the first stone.
AND METH WILL NOT HELP YOU!! Sweet Jesus Christ, it's even worse. God, what rock did that chick crawl out from? I'm pretty sure her friend who kicked heroine with meth is now a wasted shell of a human being and two seconds away from killing themselves or someone else. I LIVED IN THE F*CKING "METH CAPITAL" FOR FOUR YEARS. Christ!

I have never heard of Vitamin C helping in such cases. I do know that going to a detox center and getting professional help is the best way. They sometimes tapper you down by putting you on things such as Methadon. It is a form of Herion, but it isnt nearly as strong. It helps you to be able to kick your habit. Think about it, give it a try and see if it helps you.

No it can't. Sorry. My mom is a doctor and she said that she is unaware of it being able to help. Methamphetamine Wafers can help, but you usually just get addicted to those haha so it's really just the lesser of two evils. Rehab centers can always help! Hell at least you are kicking the habit man!

From what I understand lots of B-Complex is helpful during drug withdrawal. This was discovered by one of the faculty members of a high school. They found that a particular brand of B-Complex was helping the students who had drug problems.
Feel free to contact me for the brand and website. Hope this is helpful.

you can't withdraw from heroin yourself, check into a treatment/detox center. they know what they're doing & it will be next to pain-less...maybe 36 hours. after that will be all up to you....good luck to you
