Yes the writer of this story most certainly did not show the truth about what Clinton and his group was doing to stop the freedom of speech. I had no idea that this writer was an evangelical.
It was shocking how they even used thier power to threaten to pull ABC license with the FCC if they did not bow down before thier threats. Would not the public be calling for Bushes impeachment if he did this against the lies of the swift boat, or the lies in the mike moore films and all of that.
Yes they most ceratainly crossed the line in stomping on our freedom of speech.

It's called a film, not a gospel. Freedom of speech requires the listener to decide for him/herself whether there is any validity to what is being said. Remember, TV and Hollywood are there for a little escapism. If you're looking for truth, look elsewhere.

The Nation is a left wing rag that I banned from my house years ago.
In my daughter's school they were each to pick a newspsper and subcribe to it or to read it in the library. I objected to the teacher because it was trash and they gave her something else to read.
If the Nation said the sky was blue, I would think it was really green.

perhaps it too will live in infamy just like the JFK assassination.....that is still every once in a wile dragged up.
unless we were there and are privy to ALL the facts we will never truly know what happened and WHO is responsible for it.
so until someone has all the answers there will always be someone to say hay I know it went like this.
what do I think about it.....I don't think about and it doesn't drive me crazy.

I don't know where you are from, but this is America. We can say pretty much anything we want "factual" or not. Just ask Michael Moore.
