I am in a relationship, have been since jan 05, we fight a lot, but I love him and overall it's good, but every now and then I'll talk to my ex on the phone or through texts and I've even gone to visit him once without my current knowing, I think i still have feelings for him, but I really love my bf...how do i know if i'm not just feeling like this because I talked to him again?

Just to clear it, I did not cheat.
I only gave him a ride from a store he was at to his house.

Look, seriously, your not married to either of them, just make sure your not living a double life, cause that is the worse thing you can do. If i were you, i would stay with the guy you have now, cause your ex will always be your ex and if you like him you can do something about that later, but your boyfriend now will not come back if you break up with him for the other guy. Just see if the current guy you are with is the right one, if he isnt, try the ex again, you have nothing to lose except time, and when your younge, you have all the time in the world, so go for it.

You know, I've been in the same situation, just I was with someone who still had felling for an ex....Talking to someone in your past brings up a lot of memories...Why did the two of you break up in the first place? All I can say is that to be honest with your bf as hard as it is. He will thank you in the end.

Dear still in love w/x, I myself going through a divorce and been separated for about 2 years..we been talking and live in one roof. I can get in to feeling him all over again, but I was thinking that if i was doing that, I'm only miss lead the both of us. I think you just confused..You just don't want to let go and go on. You have to think whats the best interest for both of you and your present bf.. You don't want any of your man to do what your doing to them.. pick one that you like. disconnect with the other. I'm in a relationship too. and sometimes I just can't help thinking about my ex wife. Only time will change that. how long... I don't know. but whenever I think about my ex wife. I call my girlfriend and try and spend more time with her. because when I'm with my girlfriend, I stop thinking about my ex. You can't move on in to a new life, if you still stuck in the past life. pick one that you want. and stop contacting the other one!!!

well the only reason you have this quesion is because you havent let go and oviously thats something you havent done,now if you continue this you may keep gaining feelings for both of them and you`ll be in a position you dont want to be in are you over your ex or do you want to get over your ex ask yourself that...I think its feelings you havent resolved within yourself because if you did there wouldnt be any problem even if you did or didnt keep contact

Julie he is your ex for a reason, you might still have feelings for him let them go it wont be easy trust me i know think about all the reasons that you broke up and then think about if your ex is worth you losing your current

I think that anytime you continue to talk to an ex it is because there is not closure, and until there is than you are not being fair to yourself or to your bf.
