I love that commercial. lol.
Anyway, BLT represents the traditional list of ingredients. Adding turkey or ham or cheese or whatever would start to get confusing: BLTT,BLTH,BLTC, augh! I vote for 'turkey BLT'

ATurkey BLT is made with Turkey Bacon. A sandwich with Turkey, Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato is a Turkey Club. Perhaps thats why!

I think TT in the title of a sandwich conjures up another image most folks don't want to fathom on their sandwich. And how would you know they didn't mean a BLT w/ Tuna?
A Turkey BLT let's me know it's a BLT w/ turkey on it. Simple!

No. A "BLT" is a standard sandwich recipe that everyone know of.....another T could also mean extra tomato or something else, i.e., tofu or tuna. Could you imagine getting a BLTT and the extra T was tuna....and you were allergic to tuna? Too confusing!

No, not BLTT because some might only think it means double tomato. I know of a place that serves what they call a BBLLTT, which means they put on twice as much of everything.
