ok, i'm a teenager, and of course I'm embarassed to go to the doctor and have myself checked due to my self consciousness..well...I barely drink water, and when I go to the bathroom I strained myself, and it hurts...and yesterday I had a little bit of blood from my stool, and this morning I noticed a lump...what do I do? Is it serious? Is it normal? Could it be hemerhoids? Can this happen to a thin person?

NOTE: Any innapropriate or bashing of this question will be considered ignorant and and immature for humoring and poking fun at nature.

I am not a doctor but you really should go to a doctor and get checked out. Doctors have seen everything so you have nothing to fear. They aren't allowed to make fun of you anyways. Once you go there you will see you are stressing over nothing cause its going to be more comfortable then you thought.
Yes that could happen to thin people it haves nothing to do with your weight or height.

A doctor would tell you to see a doctor. Why embarrased? You did not do anything stupid. The doctor does not even look at you as a person but as a medical condition. They are professional, not like a friend of yours who might make fun of you for liking a guy. If you met the doc at a party, that is different. If you had breast cancer, would you be embarrased to see the doctor? What if you had AIDS and you had been having anal sex?

This webpage will help you feel more self confident and less embarrased about yourself. You have a very valid question. If someone bashed it, it would show you where they are at. A angry person would say what the hell. A depressed person might say "I hope you die." Don't take things personally.

I would not bash an honest question.
It is not something that can be diagnosed over the computer. Talk to someone about this and get help from a doctor that will listen. Talk to your parents as well.
By not drinking water, you run the risk of making yourself sick in addition to constipated.
Best wishes in finding someone who will listen to you and help you.

when you say water does this mean all fluids...........

the lump could be many things like you say a hemorrhoid or and inflamed duct / cyst etc.

Could not ask / show your mum, but like with anything in that region you really should have it checked out, these things rarely get better on their own.

being thin has absolutely nothing to do with it. Drink more water. eat more fiber........and yes it's probably a hemorhoid.
