Just be yourself and talk to her; there couldn't be much harm in doing that. Girls (mature ones) will go for "ugly" guys if they're friendly, kind, sweet, and have a good heart (at least I think that's how it goes). Just talk to her and say hi to her whenever you see her, but don't try to get in her face all the time, then she'll think you're weird and think you're stalking her. Just strike up a conversation...but not in front of the teacher or not during class.

The thing you really need to do is talk to her. Also, you MIGHT not want to post her myspace page on such a widely read website, hehe. But seriously, just speak with her. If she sits right near you, it should be easy to strike up some conversation. If you can, offer to help her with homework, or with a paper, something like that.
Plus, in this day and age, use the internet to your advantage, though it may seem tacky. Get her screenname and talk to her, because it is an easy way to speak to someone without having to get real formal. Be careful not to make it seem like you're stalking her, however--don't IM her immediately every time she gets online.
Girls often times like guys with a sense of humor, so don't be afraid to crack a few jokes, but try to stray from cracking on her. Most of all, be yourself. If she starts to like you for someone you're not, then it's pointless to even try and go out with her. Just be yourself and talk to her, and hopefully, things will work out.

The first thing you have to do is improve on your self-image. If you think yourself ugly, you will project yourself as ugly. Use your wits and charm to get her to notice you but you have to be confident....That's very important. Best of luck

Introduce yourselfand get to know her. Later on you can ask her out. Just don't act fake. If they end up finding out, they will hate you. Girls want honest men on top of what turns them on.

talk to her. See how she responds to what you have to say. if she acts shy or really interested then she's probabaly into you, if she sort of ignors you or acts like she'd rather be doing something other than talking to you move on to another girl.
