I would go as close to center as you can get.
In front you at times can since / feel the up and down motion of ship.
In rear you can feel the hum or vibration of the props.
But if you can only get front or rear. Go for the rear.

I would prefer rear to front, however center really is better. You will also want to check out the deck plans, you do not want to have a room with a public area or worse yet, the gallery right above your ceiling. I had a very front ocean room cabin on the dream 2 years ago. It was very rocky up there and also hearing the anchor drop at 6am every morning on port days was not fun!

We took a few of their ships. We had balconys which were fantastic. If its only a few dollars moe we recomend it. We we alonst in the bow and the ship is so stable that you cant feel a thing. They are giganitc. You dont even feel then touch a dock, waves, or wind.

Center is the way to go. You'll get a more stable cabin. Make shure you don't get an obstructed view from the tenders.

if the choices is only front and back i recommend back. but if you can choose near the center much better. its much relax and comfortable. or beter choose a room near the fire exit or stair case it is much safer........
