I think it's not just with the word Love but with the english language. It is used improperly. Like I love chicken. Or taking words out of context and giving them a completely different meaning or making them perverted when they never were intended to be that way. Love is not merely a feeling or emotion. It is an action. Love is action. How you treat people. I think a lot of people have a misconception of love. You can't make someone love you. You can't control a person who loves you. Sometimes people think that they love a person but they will use that person in whatever way they choose for their own gain. It's sad how selfish some people can be. I think love is doing anything for a person. Love is very important in a relationship, but you also need communication, trust, and respect. Love means being a support and encouragement. Giving of yourself continually. Love is tolerable and understanding. It's loving someone even when they don't love you back. And showing them kindness. Love goes beyond us. and it's so much more than we realize.

personally I dontm think love did go wron its all in how that perosn uses it makes it wrong love will never stop representing what it does and that is its beauty, you have to go through something usually toreally know what love means there is only one term for love and thats undescribable, love never goes wrong because god made it ....like I said its all in the person and only a true lover can really use the word LOVE until then all you know is lust which is disguised now days

i'm on your side
it went wrong when hollywood got involved. People see the stars get married and then 2 months later get a divorce. Its just used lightly now that everyone has paris hilton as a role model

I am definitely on your side. I think love went wrong when it became the "in" thing to say. It sounds alot more convincing to hear "I Love You" than " I Like You"

What you described love as, is what I feel for the man I love. Seeing a totally hot guy whom I don't know, may be a feeling of lust, but definitely not love.

I'm on my own side. Love doesn't exist. It's just hormone unbalanced due to a reaction of some other things

I agree 100%....Love never dies..You never loose love..So when people say they loved and lost, well they really never loved at all. They thought it was love.....
