I probably would take her back to the ER if she's lying on the floor and crying.

Additionally, you should ask your primary doc for a referral to a GI doc. Unless they did a catscan, no one really knows what's going on in her stomach.

I would definitely push for a catscan, better to have the hospital staff look at you funny than miss a serious condition.

Sometimes people keep stress in different parts of the body. If everything physical has been ruled out (upper GI, etc.) then I would think its the stress. Please don't take this the wrong way but there is nothing wierd going on at night with her?? She may be scared or stressed and this is how she is dealing with it. Maybe she doesn't want to go to bed. Not sure but if the physical part has been resolved you might want to consider the mental part. Something big is going on to make her get physical symptoms, especially vomiting. If she has a fever with the vomiting it might be appendisitis (sp?).

Good Luck

Don't take her to the emergency room this time -- take her to a PEDIATRICIAN. and TELL THEM THE WHOLE HISTORY - EVERYTHING YOU ARE TELLING US. This could be caused by many things......IBS, lactose intolerance, gall bladder, intenstinal blockage, emotional issues, ovarian issues, gas......she may need tests, medication, etc. You will not get the same help from an ER that you will get from a pediatrician. They treat EMERGENCIES. Not treatment of puzzles such as these.

You need to take action NOW. 2 weeks pain for a 2-year-old is unacceptable. Have her admitted to the hospital if needed, but you need to do something about this now.

Is there any one else in your house other than mom and dad?. I got a feeling your daughter is afraid of going to bed and she makes up the stomach ache, and I am saying this because you state in your question that this happens at night time.
You better pay serious attention to that. Before she starts complaining about the pain, tell her she will sleep in your bed tonight, and she what happens. Your daughter deserves every sacrifice possible.

Stomach pain or bellyache may be caused due to a problem in the organs in the abdominal region including digestive system, the liver, the gall bladder, pancreas, the appendix and the kidney. Minor problems like gastroenteritis can cause severe stomach pain, while fatal illnesses like cancer may cause only mild pain. I'm not sure but check with your doctor and tell them you demand answers to resolve this matter. It doesn't make any since that your baby is going through that and I feel the doctor should have to help you. I hope your baby feels better keep me posted and let me know what happens with the situation.

Take her back to her doctor until either he gives you an answer or she quits faking to get attention (I am NOT saying she is, but you might want to consider it if she said it didn't hurt at the hospital).

Take your daughter to the nearest children's hospital. They know how to interact with children and how to ask the right questions to help them when they hurt.

A 3 year old does not know how to relay to strange adults when they hurt.

She needs a second opinion.
