A friend of my dads uses 1 tablespoon of tomato juice on his 80 lb labs food, swears it works. Has never had unine spots on his lawn. Just curious if any one else had tried it.

I know that tomato paste or sauce is great for getting the green out of hair from the chlorine in pools.. I gave my daughter a tomato wash before back to school..

it works.. but never heard of dogs eating it for lawn care.. bizarre..

I doubt this works. Urine is highly acidic as is tomato juice, so I don't see how this could change the pH of the urine unless it makes it even more acidic. If his dog is larger than yours, he probably drinks more water, so the urine is more dilute, and labs love drinking tons of water anyway. I'd stay away from the tomota juice.
