my four yr old son knows all his colors but mixes up white and black. is this normal? like he has a white bus that he insists on calling black. ill correct him, he'll agree and five minutes later it is a black bus again.

it normal all kids mix up at least two colors in some point in their learning style of colors. For some it brown and black and for others it can be something as far fetch as red and blue So don't worry as long as he eventually gets it your ok

I wouldn't say it's abnormal. He might just do it because he senses your frustration or enjoys the negative attention that he gets from you when he mixes his colors.

Just keep calling the bus black, and don't make an issue out of it.

his only four ,give him a break ! LOL but seriously ,you can do a colour blindness test on him ,but its mostly red and green mixed together that is colour blindness so he is probably fine ,just gets them mixed up.

A case like yours isnt rare. I've known many children who get ALMOST every color right, then get two mixed up. Don't worry, with time, he'll get it down. :)

Very normal. He will get it soon don't worry. My daughter refused to say 5 when ever she counted.
