I assume you are talking about volume. 8 oz. of chicken will be more dense than 8 oz. of halibut, meaning if you had a piece of each meat in the same SIZE (for instance, 2" by 2") the chicken would weigh more.

They both weight the same raw. Chicken will weigh more after cooking as the halibut with shrink down.

You are probably wondering density.
