Shake n Bake is loaded with salt. I like to use panko bread crumbs for fish. You can find them in the Asian food section of your store. They are a more coarse kind of bread crumbs that help the fish to stay crunchy, and you can add whatever seasonings you like. Last time I made fish, I added lemon zest and cayenne pepper. I think the brand I have is Kikoman.

yes, but you can try dipping your fish in a scrabbled egg then rolling it in Italian bread crumbs for a fast easy and excellent way to fry fish in a little oil. Great with Haddock!
