Decide on a color or colors for your cover or bedspread.
1) Make 3 walls one color and the third wall a different color using colors from the spread.
2) Say you have decided on purple. Choose two purples that are close in tone and color.Or 2 purples where on is slightly lighter or darker. Decide your wall: 2 walls sharing a corner, one of the purples, the other 2 walls the other purple.
3) Same colors but different walls. Opposite walls one color, the 2 other opposite walls the other color.
4) Your colors can be bright or muted, contrast or blend. This would be your decision.
5) Last, using blue masking tape create a design on 1 or 2 walls. Paint the walls 1 or 2 colors and strip off the tape.
TaDa! color and design.

Definitely pick out your bedding first... then match your one wall to the color of it. The other three walls go with a neutral (tan, brown, beige, white, grey) so down the road you don't get overwhelmed with that one particular color of the bedspread and wall. Dont forget the ceiling... how about doing a sky view !!! clouds, birds ,,, the whole nine yards!! Dont forget accent pillow to match the spread and wall. and on the neutral walls hang groovy art work done by YOU in the bedding colors as well. A pin board is fun at any age to tack up things from friends and special pictures of highschool events ! Do you have a lamp ? Be sure to add beads around it or make it fuzzy like the bedspread you mentioned ! COOL !!

Dang now I am wanting to change a room too... grrrrrrrrrrrrrr I dont have time..ha ha... happy painting : )

I always wanted to paint my room like this: two walls orange and two walls dark pink! Crazy! I wanted to paint the ceiling sky blue with clouds...but I never did that!

I also wanted to paint it red, but my mom said I might go crazy.

How about yellow? That would go really well with green, pink and red..but if you only have red and yellow it will look like a hamburger stand!

Good luck!

I was in the same position as you!! For my room, I chose pink, green, and purple. I think you should pick if you want like a red/black/white theme or a pink/green room. Since you really like bright colors, I would reccomend pink/green. Room design for a teen girl can be really fun, it was for me!! So good luck and have fun on your room! :D
