Drinking games?

Question

can anybody recommend any good drinking games? im in the UK and wanting to spice up the night with friends.
preferably ones that dont require any props.

we used to play quarters - bounce a coin in the drink... drink it down and catch the coin in your teeth

O.K. here it goes, I don't believe I'm going to type all of this out. The name of this game is: "A Big Red Hen". Since your asking, you have to be the leader. (Just drink along at your own pace, but it's fun to watch everyone else). I'LL TELL YOU NOW, YOU HAVE TO KNOW THESE LINES COLD, LIKE YOU CAN REPETE THEM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. You say the first line, and everyone takes their turn in a clockwise order and must repete that same line word for word until it gets back to you. Then you say the first line again and add a second line, with everyone repeating both lines, it goes around and adding a third line and on and on. Whoever messes up has to drink!! (don't repete the line #, just the sentence).READY? So, here we go: (1) A big red hen, (2) A couple of ducklings, (3) Three brown bear, (4) Four running hare, (5) Five foolish females, (6) Six simple simons, sitting on a stump, (7) Seven Sicilian sailors, sailing the seven seas, (8) Eight egotistical egotists, egotistically echoing their egotistical ecstasies, (9) Nine nimble nymphs, nimbly nibbling their gnats, knees, knuckles and nicotine. (10) I am not the fig plucker, nor the fig plucker's son, but I will pluck figs till the fig plucker comes ! THE END, or is it. Now, try it backwards! Quarters, Mr. Smith, Silent Football, up the river down the river, -these are the ones I remember - it has been so long I can't give you details. Only on quarters - which I am sure you already know. If it is a close group - you could play " I Never"

You start and say " I have never had a threesome" - (it has to be something you have never done). Those who have done it take a drink. Then it goes on to the next person. Not only do you drink but you find out things about the people at your party

Ok ,this one is called Ring of Fire!!!! you need at least 2 people (preferably already drunkish) both (or more)people stand on the table in a pub and drop their pants,have a toilet roll at hand and unravel enough for the people to clench it in the buttocks and so it reaches from their *** to the table top.Each person holds a pint,and can only start drinking when you set fire to the loo roll at the table top,they are not allowed to remove the paper before they finish the entire drink,you can have a big ring of fire with multiple people or a knockout competition with numerous rounds.
A good trick is to get the drunkest person and tear the paper in half before lighting it(giving them a lot less time to drink)its amazing that people will still try and drink whilkst being burned in the private areas as not to loose face in front of their mates!!!!!!as you can imagine hilarity usually ensues,,,,usually aaccompanied by a trip to the hopspital ha ha ha brilliant!!!!!

Here's a variation on the game people are calling QUARTERS (I learnt it as COINAGE) This version is called CHANDELIERS and instead of only 1 glass each person should have their own glass plus an extra glass for the "scary shot" in the centre. What you do is get everyone to pour whatever they wanna drink in their own glass. Then you arrange the glasses around the centre glass to look like a chandelier. The first person starts and bounces the coin toward the glasses. If he gets the coin in his own glass he nominates someone to down their drink. If he gets the coin in someone else's glass they drink their glass. If he gets the coin in the middle everyone should down and the person last to put their glass back down empty downs the middle glass. Also if the coin hits the rim of any glass and doesnt go in anywhere you may challenge the person who threw the coin. In a challenge if the person being challenged gets the coin in a glass with a new bounce the person who challenged him drinks his own glass and if he misses all the glasses he drink his own glass. A succesful thrown earns you another throw and three in a row earns you the right to make up a sillly rule. (like anyone who drinks with their left hand instead of their right downs the shot in the middle.)
Great game which ends up in a lot of laughs and a lot of very drunk people.

Played two games with my mate the other week. Both kinda lame, but hey.. when you're drunk.

#1 - Not allowed to check your phone, for texts or missed calls. It must remain untouched in your pocket for the whole night, otherwise the person who checks has to buy the drinks.

#2 - Who can hold off going to the toilet the longest, seriously starts to get painful, whoever loses buys the drinks.

You go through the alphabet and someone starts with A
They drink until they can think of anyone famous that starts with A, then you go B, and so on.
Then if you get to Z, you go backwards.

Or u could try The Name Game.
Thats where you start with someone famous (any order)
You could pick Bradd Pitt, then the next person has to go by the last name.
They would have to use "P"
But they would have to drink until they could name someone.
You cant use the same name twice and it cant be one word like
"Ponochio"
When they come up with something like "Peter Cottontail"
The next person goes, now they would start with "C"
and so on.

thunderstruck- play the AC/DC song thunderstruck. when they say thunderstruck start drinking until they say thunderstruck again. then the next person drinks until thunderstruck. and so on until you fall over.
connections is a good one if you have a deck of cards basically you deal out the cards and anytime people have the same suit or number they drink for the number on the card all they way up to ace being the highest

Commando (Arnie) drinking game.. whenever Matrix says something pure comedy ("I'm airsick) or does something ridiculous (drops out of a plane into a lake and survives) you take a drink.. Also whenever Matrix tames and feeds a Deer you down your drink, and when there's a blatent mistake (Cardboard men in the claymore scene) you down your drink!

Theres the ABC game. You have so many seconds to think of a word that starts with that letter. Example: its your turn, your letter is d. think of a word that starts with d fast. If you cant then you have to take a drink. It goes all the way to the end of the alphabet

beer pong. or the 100 club. which is 100 shots of beer, 1 a minute for 100 minutes, which comes out to about a 12 pack in less than 2 hours :-)
