I have the sweetest little Yorkie who is my little sunshine...I was wondering if there were any other dog lovers out there who have a special little someone...???

I love Flash, my lab. He is 4 years old and thinks he is a baby. He want to sit on my lap even though he's twice as heavy as I am. ;-)
I love him so much and wouldn't give him up for all the world! He knows when I need a shoulder to cry on and when I'm happy he leans on me and licks me. He's better than a human friend sometimes. He doesn't care about "who started it". All he cares about is cheering me up and loving me. I owe so much to him.

Well I have over the years owned what feels like a million different kinds of dogs. I have to say that I personal favorite is the german shepherd. They are very intelligent and quick learners. Once with a family they will guard them to the very end. I currently have 1 german shepherd, 1 black lab (this has to be the friendliest but dumbest dog I have ever had), and 1 border collie (nice dog but always needs to be doing something - not a city dog for sure.) This is the 3rd german shepherd I have had. But as you can tell I perfer big dogs.

Lhasa apsos by far are my favorite breed. They have "lhasatude"...haha. They are like a big dog breed in a small dogs body. They are not yappy dogs at all except when they are protecting. Lhasas were guard dogs in the tibetan temples. They have the sweetest dogonalities(personalities) and are always there to give you a good laugh. They are literally like the walking, living teddy bear you always wanted. Lhasas also are very loyal dogs and will follow you all around the house because they want to spend every second they can with you.
I love my lhasa :)!!!

We are partial to the wonderful Pekingese. We have had 4 and they were all great family pets. When I had my twins our dogs had "double trouble" but never bit or growled when tormented by 4 little hands. In fact the male woudl park in front of the babies cradles and try to keep people from looking too closely at the babies.

Basset Hound. They are so loveing, laid back, easy matinence, and they are full of personality. My dog plays with kids, does tricks, and if another dog comes on out property, he will bring them a ball. He is also funny! Yes, Very funny. Also, Basset's give the best big hugs. My Dog is my whole world.

The best breed is a puggle. I own one and she is very lovable. She likes to be whereever I am at. She is great with kids. In case your wondering a puggle is a pug/beagle mix. The puggle is becoming popular because they are perfect for apartments and other small houses. Matter of fact my puggle is sitting on my lap right now as I type this. Puggles get to 20-30 pounds as adults. I wouldn't trade my puggle for anything.

Boxers! I have a 4 year old male & a 13 week old female puppy Boxer. They are wonderful pets! They are very compationate, smart, loyal, loving dogs that are naturally great with kids. They are very active & require lots of people attention, but if you have the time they are worth it!

I like all dogs, but the order of preference is ..
1. Shih Tze (coz I got one)
2. Golden/Labrador Retrievers (they areso friendly)
3. Maltese (cute like Shih Tzus)
4. All puppies

My dog Rocky, a Golden Retriever, passed away a few months ago. He was a great dog friendly, loving and funny.

I can only choose one? Well, my favorite breed so far is the "merry little hound", the Beagle because they have good temper. THey're nice to children and they play alot! I also like their beagle howls. Next is the Labrador Retriever because they same same temperament as the beagle and they're also nice to children.
