Guys
What do you REALLY think when a woman asks you out? Do you think only men should ask? Do you think she is desperate or confident for asking?
Also what are some excuses you would give if you did NOT want to go out with her but you didn't want to come right out and say it- in other words what hints would you give that we women might take the wrong way and still think there is a chance when there isn't?

some women out there are still very traditional and saying that i mean they're based on the values that it's the dude's place to ask a woman out. the truth is it all depends on the situation. they are women out there that keep it real and aren't afraid to ask a guy out. im not saying that there's a problem with that, that's just the way they are. i can think of a special someone and she's so down to earth. btw. so i don't think she's desperate, she knows what she wants and isn't afraid to ask a guy out. phone calls are the biggest ones. if a guy doesn't call you then there's something definitely wrong. besides the phone calls, just his whole attitude towards you. guys generally tend not to appreciate someone when they've seem to have lost interest. so if your getting the cold shoulder or excuses about everything, that should lean you towards the " not interested " pile. it's sad, especially when you really like someone, but everyone plays a fool, you know. when you do find someone though, cherish it for all its worth and be appreciative that there are people out there that are still trying to define true love.

If he was thinking of asking you out he will jump at the chance. If you are a little off his radar screen he will still say yes. If he has some excuse, just move on, he is zero interested.

If you want to ask a guy out, go for it. Not a thing wrong with that strategy, but do keep up a confident attitude.

Confidence in women is pretty apparent I think. If I knew her a little bit and she asked me out confidently but still a little nonchalant (kinda contradictory, I know) I would think she was super cool and someone I would want to get to know better. I would go out with her in a heartbeat. That tells me she thinks she's got it going on a little and I would want to find out more.

If I was asked for a specific date I didn't want to go on, I'd probably have an excuse for every time she asked me out (I've got softball tonight, my friend is moving and needs a hand, I went out last night and need to get some sleep) and that would be the end of it. If I wanted to go out with her, I would make the time, even if it meant, "No. Damn. I have softball tonight. But I'm free tomorrow..." or whatever.

I think it's great when a woman asks me out. It's good to see that level of confidence in a woman. I've never thought a woman would be desperate for asking a man out. Never.
And if I wasn't attracted to a woman who asked me out, I'l say something like, "I'm already sort-of involved w/ someone."

I think it's great when a woman asked a guy out as long as it's in a private place. Guys really hate turning a girl down in front of others.

i think its god if a girl asks a guy out becasue girls never really the person that does part when it comes to the part of asking some 1 out. i think you should just tell him how you feel no games and ask do he like you as more than a friend yes or no cause it will save all the trouble of getting into something that can turn into something else

When a woman asks me out I am flattered. Even if shes not the type of woman I'm interested in, I love cute lil plump girls, I will at least go out with her once. Who knows, she just might turn out to be the perfect one. Non the less she asked me out. I'll at least have the common courtesy to go out with her. You can still have a good time. If it turns out to be the date from hell. Problem solved.

I wish more girls would ask guys out on dates. I think it's cool.

A guy who does not want to be with you should just say, sorry, not my type. Or No thanks.

Most young guys will make up an excuse, which is just beating around the bush. Not George, but your bush. lol.

I think they are confident. It will also make me feel wanted, knowing that there was something about me that attracted her to me. If I didn't want to go out, I would say that I'm seeing someone. Not in a relationship, that way if she sees me with different girls, I could say it didn't work. I know it sounds bad, but I wouldn't want her to feel bad or rejected.
