What should I make of this? She is very sweet, attractive, funny, smart...I don't understand why she isn't looking for committment. Any opinions?

They say that at the start but it is almost impossible for a woman to do this. There is an emotional part of a woman's brain that when she's had sex, her mind starts to think about where is this going etc.
Maybe she thinks you don't want a committed relationship with her. I remember saying the same thing to a guy hoping that the sex would turn into a relationship. It didn't.

Has she just got out of a relationship?? that could be why she is not ready....so if you really want a true relationship with this lady, i would not be having sexual relationship with her at this time it may just not work out the way you want.

I don't see a problem here!! If your both consnting adults who want a physical only relationship, go for it! Maybe she had a bad previous relationship and just needs some fun.

I'm exactly like her. I too met someone, but made it clear to him it's just sex. Why, I would not like the burden of a relationship.

Sounds like she just doesn't want a relationship. If you're o.k. with that, go for it. Just don't expect anything in return
