The importance of the Scriptures to mankind makes reason and logic of the utmost importance in accepting the Message of the One God.
Blind acceptance of Scripture is prohibited in genuine Scripture.
Corruption in Scripture will always be recognised when a proper examination is done.
If the Creator of all is responsible for what is written, then the corruption of Scripture will be left with sufficient evidence by those who corrupt in order to expose the corruption within its words.
The one who thinks he is wise and believes his own version or interpretation of Scriptures and is afraid to be questioned or afraid to examine what is before his eyes, deceives only himself, for if you know, then you you will be able to face all opposition without fear of being exposed as a fraud.
Without condemning anyone for his belief, we should be able to reason what we have before us, and if Truth is One, there is only one conclusion at the end of the day.

I think the Problem here is that we do not use scripture to pick our pastors, instead we pick ones who agree with us, and whom often no one in the church (local) knows thus the guidlines can not be followed. No doubt having different denominations makes appointing a good shepard more difficult. You are right if a person knows the truth he will not MIND being questioned cuz it is just one more opportunity to teach, one of those qualifications. Merchants should listen with their mouths closed for the most part because they have a difficult task balancing all between job and studying, instead we appoint those who have money (many merchants) to positions of authority, and we get money decisions. We need spirit decisions and preachers who show us our error not preach what we want to hear every week. I ask questions on here and often get twisted scripture as answer, often used to say the opposite of the scriptures meaning. Example Those who bless Israel get blessed and those who curse them get cursed. Question was why are we giving them money when we have no good healthcare for poor. The quote was from Gen, 12-3 and the arabs were also decendants of the reciever of that prophesy from god so actually the scripture does not take sides in current conflict as the writter put on instead it would leave one thinking get your nose outta here you can not win. Any way good question and observation

Reading and knowing every word in the Scripture does not make anyone expert unless he fully understands what it wants to convey. When he adds things to it or omit anything to it and then looks at himself as the authority on it. Not even those who have the doctorate and mastery of it have the right to claim that he fully understands. The truth will always lie within what the heart will dictate.
