Yes. She set up half-way houses, where she denied treatment to those who were suffering greatly. Despite what those whacky Catholics want you to believe, she was evil and mean-spirited.
Edit: I'm lying? I actually provide evidence:

Edit #2: Wikipedia, the massive online encyclopedia which receives millions of hits a day might contain a virus? Now who's lying? Stop denying the truth because it conflicts with your beliefs. Or can you provide counter-evidence to that which I have posted?

Yeah, sure, there were so many non-Christians in the poorest areas of India. RUKIDDING?!!! She wasn't even IN the area of India were Christians are. She helped the poorest of the poor, the "non people" who were in the lowest casts, which is a belief of Hinduism. I don't know who is spreading these lies, but that's what they are. The people she helped were so grateful and so amazed that she would have anything to do with them since they were the "untouchables."
Look, that first guy is nothing but a liar who just happens to be an atheist. What else would he say? Don't believe him!
Those "sites' are bogus and may contain a virus. Don't do it!

No. As for as I know. She was there in Kolkata to help poor people.
May be she could have converted some people. But I dont think thats main reason to stay there.
Thanks lespaul_athe.. .Now I learned the Truths
(Untochable is similar to how White Chritians treated Africans)

She started out by picking up a dying man on one of the streets in Kulkata, India. And the man was a 'non-christian.' That's how she started her work.

she was the devil in the nunnery! she wanted people to suffer, she and her staff of nuns at the home she created housed people who were very very ill ready to die, and instead of medical treatment she would pray for them to get better! A nice thought but that is not going to help some one in major pain! She also believed that the more you are around suffering the more holy you are , you are more connected to God, so she wanted people to suffer so she could be close to God. What a horrible horrible person she was.

That is a lie, she was a very compassionate and loving person. She also gave lots of charity gifts to others. She never refused to help no one.
