yes, it is a controlled substance an will go on your record. I wouldn't be surprised if they pass it on to other potential employers, you know how fast bad news travels. Now on the other hand, if you can explain and have a doctor's note for the reason why you take Valium, it might work in your favor.

Hell yes. If you don't have a prescription for them why would you take them? If you diregarded your obligation to have a clean drug test then you deserve to be overlooked for the job. Keep playing with drugs and you will always be looking for a job and you won't get any worth a crap. Quit being stupid. Get your priorities straight.

it cost a lot of money and time to analize one illegal drug so to go for legal drugs would be pointless..if you have a accident at work while on valium and havent notified them you might not get comp.so they must have a machine from autopsy level but they wont use that unless you died at work and that would be very rare so your safe....

no they are only screening and care about illegal narcotics...valium is a prescribed drug and is a legal substance..they are looking for Pot, Cocaine, Exstacy and Heroin.
