For some reason or other my computer has put the Themes & Appearences in a laptop mode. I've been trying to get back my origional format to no avail. I guess I'll have to call a computer tech. to resolve this issue right?

Thanks guys, but I've already tried those options, but your advise was greatly appreciated.
My son is coming over today after work to see if he can resolve the issue. He's really good at fixing computers, but he was away when the oroblem arose, but HE,S BACK & i,m sure he'll find a solution, or a tech it will be. Say a prayer that he can fix this. I know I am. I've got all kinds of print out solutions from various sites to no avail, as well as Rogers & Microsoft E./Mailing me all their solutions, which you have to be a tech to understand, not a novice like me.
LATER: & again THANKS.R/CAT:****

P.S The word oroblem should be PROBLEM. My mistake in misspelling. Sorry.

Not necessarily.

You can adjust the theme and appearance in the Display section of the Control Panel. Once you select the desired theme, be sure to click APPLY and then OK.

If this is not fixing the issue, you may need ot get a tech to do a repair of your Windows Installation.
