You are bound to be nervous the first day or two.It is a big difference but it's a new adventure opening up for you and lots more people to make friends with. The main thing is to be yourself.Don't try to be something you aren't. People see through that.Being you is what it's all about. By the end of the first week I'm sure you'll have met a few people you'll be spending part of the week-end with and don't forget this. You aren't the only one that's going to that school for the first time. They might even be your first new friends!!!!
Have a good year.

There's no reason to be scared. Join some clubs and get involved. That's the easiest way to make friends. Don't worry, they're not going to bite! Try out for a sport if that's your thing. Just get involved.

You'll do fine, just believe in yourself. Act friendly towards everyone and if anybody gives you any grief then give them grief back. Public schools are going to be way harder for you now, your parents didn't do you a favor shoving you into a private school.

just be yourself and don't be afraid to strike up conversations. Look at having more students as an opportunity to make even more friends! With that many people you're bound to find someone you have things in common with. Good luck!
