hmmm... getting pots and pans may get you killed (unless she asked for them) ... and so may the washer and dryer, mainly because you are getting gifts that are impersonal and require her to do work. Stick with the sentimental gifts at least until after you are married. However, if I had to choose, go for a good washer/dryer and say that it is for the house.

Well does she really want those things? If so then go for the washer dryer. If not then get her something she wants like Jewlery or something. Diamond earings are always nice to get ;).

that's really a good question...the washer and dryer have more value, but she could use the pots and pans to hit you upside your stupid head !

I don't think she would appreciate it if you buy her things that you would eventually buy later on. Give her something else.
