i dreamed that i was applying to emigrate to croatia. the woman at the desk said "the food might be bad but at least theres always pudding" and laughed.

I don't believe in symbolism in dreams, but I do think they can convey certain sub conscious feelings.

What this says to me is that you desire to escape from your current existence. You are not going because you expect it to be BETTER, only that you expect it to be DIFFERENT.

That sounds rather negative, but actually it is a very common state of mind in today's society.
