Canada is so large, and so varied, that there is a 'best' place to visit any time of year. In the summer, the East Coast is fantastic -- Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, Labrador are all interesting. The Yukon is wonderful in the summer too, as days are 24 hours long. There is a 24-hour baseball tournament that is played every year at mid-summer.
In the fall, Quebec and Ontario are a visual delight as the maple trees turn red and the muggy heat of summer dissapates into crisp, clear nights. It's also a lovely time to visit the prairies, as the harvest is on then and the farms make a checkerboard of golden squares all the way to the horizon.
In winter, the West Coast is the place to be. In the Lower Mainland area, and on Vancouver Island, it rarely snows, although the mountains surrounding the area are covered, so the skiers are happy. But people are out playing tennis, boating and jogging all year round.
In the springtime, everywhere is lovely as the new growth announces the new season.
It really just depends on what you want to do.

Come to Toronto. The best months are from May till Sepetmeber. You can really explore our city in spring and summer. Lots to see and do!!
There is also Greek Fest in the second week of August. Over a million people attend in one weekend!! Come and see the CN Tower, Castle Loma, hockey hall of Fame, Fort York, the Rom- Ontario Museum, Art Gallery and so on.....
You will not want to leave. Greek town, China town, little Portugal, Little Italy, and so on....
Very clean city
Very proud to be from Toronto

The City of Ottawa is great to visit in the Winter, There is winterlude and The rideau canal that turns into the world's largest skating rink. Did i mention there are more females between the ages of 18-27 than there are males.

Yours to discover

I think Niagra Falls in Ontario, Canada, really anytime between spring and fall. Winter is pretty, but unless you have a room overlooking the falls, you probably won't enjoy it because of the cold.

Trust me, the Canadian side is MUCH prettier than the American side.

It really depends on what area of Canada you are planning on visiting.

I love Northern Ontario in the Autumn. The colours on the trees are amazing. I also love Northern Ontario in the winter with all the snow.

Also, every year they have an international festival in early October called "Celtic Colours", featuring the Island's strong Scottish Gaelic heritage. http://www.celtic-colours.com/core.php

Can you really go to canada and not visit Niagra Falls?

I normally send my clients to hotels closest to this great waterfall.

Quebec is really beautiful, Montreal is a super fun place. I wouldn't go in the winter though, because it gets REALLY cold up there!
