Yes it's normal. Teething will often result in loose stools. If they are having a lot, you might want to give them a little Pedialyte to help replace the potassium they are loosing.

Yes, this is perfectly normal! When a baby is teething they will have loose stools; apple sauce or juice will do the trick too!

It is not normal to pass loose stool at all, but if it happens one more time, take him to the doctor. Twice, and he's okay. Three times, and he has a virus or something. Loose stool means dehydration, which is dangerous, especially in 8 month olds.

Ignore pasta (the wise-@ss who first answered your question)
Anyways, you shouldn't have given your baby apple sauce at that stage. Apples and all fruits contain an enzyme that induces loose stools. Give him fruit juice after he/she reaches 1+ year old. For now, oral rehydration salts is what your baby needs.
As for teething....get a teether for him. It's normal also for babies to have loose stools while they are teething.
Hope this helps. Peace.

Yeah, that's probably ok. Teething even sometimes causes diarrhea. If it concerns you, call your doc. But I think your baby is ok. If loose stools continues, it would be best to call the doc.
