I used to work for a vet and we used to joke about burning the ground where infestation was. There is no real way. Any pets that are in a known infested yard, should remain on a product like Interceptor year round. If you are moving to a new house and do not know the history, it's also a safe idea. Interceptor is very affordable, but it is a prescription. Good luck. Keep your shoes on and don't let kids play in the yard without shoes, either. :)

hookworms from the ground are actually the larvae of the worm. If there is no feces on the ground there wont be any hookworms

You could use a bleach and water solution to pour on the ground where any stool is or was. this tends to kill whats left in the soil.

You have to pick up the infected stool. Deworming your dog and picking up the stool are the only ways to get rid of the worms.

Rid Ex or other type of lawn treatment for insects and worms. read the label for what the product kills and keep pet of of the grass as directed on warning labels

I don't know if thats possible. If you are giving your dog heartworm medicine, you don't have anything to worry about.

u need to go to your local hardware store,or go to your vet/u can even catch it,and it takes special medicine to get rid off it.
