I think it depends a lot on how serious of a relationship you had with the ex and on what kind of terms you two split up. I can't really lay out the guidelines for you there, but I will say that if it was just a fling that ended on good terms, go out with the brother. Definitely do it if that's all that happend. If it's more than that.. then.. well you'll have to figure out just how ok you are with the situation and go with it or not.

You should have gotten to know the older brother a little better before you started making out with him. It sounds like you are a ho. Leave the older brother alone.

How about talking with the older brother? Tell him exactly how you feel and how you worry about your relationship, past, present, and future, with your ex-boyfriend.
Be honest and listen to what he has to say. If you just start making out with a random stranger, however, I would relook at your intentions. He probably just wants to get into your pants.
Learn: cute doesn't always mean worth your time.

If you and the ex are still friends then I say no, don't date the brother. You would not want to lose a good friend over someone you don't know right? There are plenty of guys out there. Think before you do anything crazzzzzzzzzzzzyyyyyyyyyyyy. Good luck!!!!!!!

I would say, go out with him. I would have totally gone out with my husbands brother if we had broken up and he was interested.
Who cares what the rest of the family thinks.
Unless you dated the younger brother for more than 6 months, then it might be a little weird with the whole family thing.

Sometimes the one you think is the one and you think that it might work between you two isn't really right. That does not mean that his brother is wrong for you either. His brother maybe the real deal. I say go for it and see if it is right. What the heck....what do you really have to loose????

Don't go out with his brother. Jealousy will eventually develop, and he will spontaneously generate "feelings" for you. It'll get messy. Plus, you might want to slow down at those parties. THere's nothing wrong with just talking. What if he had Herpes or something?

Girl if you like him go for it! and its all cool if the ex don't mind! even if he did you shouldn't care about how he feels! all that matters here is how you feel about the older brother and how he feels about you! all you can do is give it a shot and see what happens next!!!!!!

Leave the brother alone, would you like to be compared by two brothers. Nothing good will come out of it. Blood is thicker than water.
