i think too many try to grow up much to fast they don't understand the meaning of safety , though alot of adults do stupid things we all have, so many forget to think through the whole safety issues responsibility is very important for our children to learn, if given a safety course is what it takes, films on the, what ifs maybe a few of them can understand that it is alot to take on, at such a young age
my own advise is make sure they are ready for it all insurance and always the safe issues.

Make them wait til they are 21... They can't drink til then and teens just don't pay enough attention. I have been driving for 6 years my 17 year old sister barely a year and has totaled 1 car already. I still have my first 2. So, better wait til at least 18 mine will!

Convenient for the parents, especially if they are involved in a lot of after school activites in high school while younger siblings aren't, and they have to be picked up at different times.

I THINK THAT THE LEGAL DRIVING AGE SHOULD BE 18. THIS WOULD LOWER THE INSURANCE PREMIUMS A GREAT DEAL. THEY WOULD BE LEGALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR CRIMES THEY COMMIT WHILE DRIVING. TRAFFIC DEATHS WOULD BE REDUCED. THERE WOULD BE LESS TRAFFIC, EMISSIONS, AND UNNECESSARY GASOLINE CONSUMPTION.
FURTHERMORE, THERE SHOULD ALSO BE A NATIONAL CURFEW FOR THOSE UNER 18; BE HOME BY MIDNIGHT OR PAY A FINE, AND A THREE-STRIKES-MANDATORY COMMUNITY SERVICE CLEARING LITTER ON RODAWAYS, FOR HABITUAL VIOLATORS.

They should raise the age limit or at least have a longer period of restrictions(no passengers, no music, no cell phones, no sex, no laptops, no portable dvd players, no homework) while driving
