I know some people would frown upon my answer but I would save my child first. I say this because...my spouse can walk out on me, divorce me and we wouldn't have any ties. My child is connected to me forever. I carried my children inside of my body for nine months, I've fed my children, clothed my children, taught my children and that is so deep. I do say sorry to my hubby though lol. I would of course would go back and try to save my spouse after my child is safe.

Since I have no child, I would have to say my spouse.

Had to respond to this one,it hitting little close to home for me.Friends of friends of mine found this out the hard way and their oldest child died.But she saved her mom and little brother in the process.If it wouldn't been for her handing her mom her brother, mom and dad would have lost both their children that day.After the funeral and everything the dad was asked what would you have done if your wife and kids all had drowned that day, his answer was simple and very heartbreaking...he said,"I would have jumped in with them and we all would be gone.I can't live without my family,bad enough I will have to learn to live without my daughter.She give her life so her mom and brother wouldn't die.I bet she has the most beautiful wings the Lord could find."...................... My children. My spouse has had a long life compared to my children. There life is just starting. Besides they are so much more likable and tolerable than he is.
