See, the conventional 'truth' is that someone is in lust with another person, and the other person doesn't have feelings for him/her.

the other conventional story is when 2 people are in love...
So it's all happy and great and they marry and have kids. Then they decide they are not in love anymore and get divorced.
to REFINE the question: what happens when 2 SENSIBLE teenagers (who are never going to have sex until marriage) are in lust with each other?
remember, no sex involved. What would happen? (hypothetically :P)

Anything could happen. It depends on the indivduals involved. However lust is a temporary and impatient emotion. Love on the other hand is everlasting and content. People who experience lust dont have a productive relationship, it last anywhere from 3 months to a year, maybe two at the most. Lust is a superficial attraction, and it's only felt in certain context. Lust itself can never out weigh love.

Hypothetically they will eventually have sex before marriage, lust is a very powerful thing. It does not matter how sensible they are, intimacy will happen and that will lead to sex. Lust is defined as a strong desire and it is powerful! Those two sensible teenagers need to be very very very very very very very careful! Take it from my experience.
