yes my daught did..her teach left because she was sick 2 months before school ened this was 2 years ago...when they came back from summer vacation one of the students brought in her death notice..she died of breast cancer my daughter is 10 years old.this happened when she was 8..she cryed..she loved her teacher..she misses her till this day she brings it up....she also lost her father to cancer last year....damn what a young age to lean about death.....i explain to her....what happened and why.....good luck

Yes, but it was 10 years after I took her class. Don't make the same mistake I did, when there is a teacher that you love and makes a difference in your life, let them know before it is too late. This teacher and I agreed to meet in 10 years from when I took her class, sad to say it was at her funeral

Yes the teacher I had in middle school, I was in high school when he did of a brain tumor but the entire town was devastated. He had one of the largest funeral attendances the town had ever seen

when my youngest daughter was in 7th grade, her teacher's wife died and few months later his daughter died was well. Both mother and daughter had cancer and no health ins. It was a really hard year for every one, but it taught my daughter the life if very is not all fun & games and to cherish your family.

Yes, not just students in my class but the whole school. He died of stomach cancer.

He had to have a hollow drilled in his head to alleviate the stress. He survived an entire 23 years after that final incident. He gave up the ghost in February of 2011. i think of God saved Him. My dad concept so, too.

I know I was young but I was in the 1st grade and my teacher past away. She tried to tough it out through the school year. I was very sad. If you are going through it, I am sorry for you.
