I registered at Bed Bath&Beyond. They have a huge price range, they gift wrap for free, you don't need a gift receipt, and people can buy it on-line and have it sent to you for free! Also if you buy something there and it breaks you can take it back w/o a receipt or packaging and they will exchange it.

I registered at Wal-mart and Target because those are two stores that most people shop. I also registered at a local party store for alot of wedding items like, unity candles, cake cutter set, toasting glasses, cake topper, wedding albums, etc.. I found that it saved me alot of money by registering for the things I really needed for the wedding. Happy wedding planning!!

Hey, I'm getting married in San Diego too! Congrats.

I registered on Amazon.com - it's super-convenient, and they have all the stuff one could think of, at great prices.

I hear Target has a gift registry. I would try to get the word out that "cash" is the best gift - never returned. There has to be a classy way to say that - it's the gift I always give at weddings.

What ever you chose will be right. You have to remember this is your wedding. The perfect gift is one you can treasure for a life time. Not one that will come and go.

Are you on www.theknot.com? It has great suggestions for just these things!

Try registries that are both online and in store, like Target (for your poorer friends) and Linens n Things.

Congratulations! I recently got engaged too, and so I understand your excitement!
