Do any of you think that at some time in the future the United States will use this bomb??? If you say yes, please tell me why you think so.

I don't really care if the U.S. uses the MOAB...as long as the military does its job killing the terrorist...as long as the country is safe as long as our freedoms are intact....If it were up too me I would do and use every thing in our power too keep this country safe and kill every damn terrorist possible!

Depends on the target really...if the Yanks see a huge mass of terrorists or end up fighting some bad guy with a whole large massed army of infantry and armour...then yes expect the MOAB to be used.
Most likely they will use it on targets in remote locations like the Afghani mountains because using it on cities would be akin to using nukes on 'em (cause of the massive damage radius, even though it is significantly less than a real nuke) and a really bad publicity problem.
Otherwise...if the target really is that important or big or too hard to kill with even smart bombs, then yep expect MOAB hell to be unleashed sooner or later.

it should be the first thing in the air and the last thing they ever remember and burned into the mind of all of their supporters for what would be the point in having such power if all you can do is talk about the power you got if you ask the time for talk has long sinse benn past and missin accoplished only fatten the pockets of those greedy bastards in power when will they realize their is only so much a country will tolerate before it will demand action wether its against its own corupt leaders or rightfully against those who would do us harm we will have our satifaction
it really not that complicated for every american solier that gets killed we drop a bomb starting with those we know
and then when we go through them we get those we think we know and if the need is still there we get em all sorry if this offends you dont respond but im tired so tired of turning on the current events and hearing another soldier has died and we need not be there unless we are going to fight back i mean really how many cheeks do we have

Contrary to what some might have said already, the MOAB was NOT used in Iraq. Read the URL below.

If there are ever large troop concentrations or hardened targets suitable for a MOAB rather than a JDAM, it will be used. You won't see it anytime soon, since guerilla warfare in either Afghanistan or Iraq does not present a justifiable target for this sort of ordnance.

They'll never drop this during this war. This is nothing more than a loud crater maker, it is intended to kill (of course) but too kill the enemy's will to fight. The thunder of the explosion and devastation it would leave behind would slowly destroy a man's will to fight. When the enemy doesn't care if they die, when they believe death will give them life, it has no meaning. They are heroes if commit suicide, but martyrs when they die in battle. Too late for a weapon like this.

i think we will sometime in the future. but im sure most countries wont really like it... kinda like they dont like carpet bombing and fuel air bombs. but all bombs are going to be used at some time
