We went out for about 10 months. We have been broken up for almost 2 years and haven't hung out together for over 1 year. Yesterday he called me and asked me to hang out with him. He came over it was a little awkward i guess but it was so random. He stayed for a really long time. I just thought he was bored and felt like doing somthing different and needed a friend. But i got home today and my sister said he called me again today. Is he thinking on getting back together or just wants a friendship with me???

if he broke up with u first....dont answer him.

but if u initated the break up...then probably he's feeling like theres no one out there like you...which is probably a compliment...if I were you I would just talk to him normally as a friend...

it seems that u have already moved on with ur life...dont turn back now...things can get messy.

He may still have feelings for you. I think he can't get over you. He may want to start over with you. Maybe a fresh start. The question is do you still care for him? Sometimes you can be apart for awhile and realize you still care for each other and fall back into each others arms! Sounds like that's where this is leading to. Best of luck!

He probably wants to know that you are evil in his point of view and you will never get him back. My ex did that to me once. I felt really sad. Because I thought when an ex call, it means the ex wants to get back with me again. But this call, made me very sad.

Guessing you are in your twenties? Look at it his way , "why did you break up" if it was stressfull and hurtfull...then do not revisit a negative relationship..however if there is room for improvement with maturity then give it a chance..Try being honest and asking him about his reasons for starting again..bad relationship rebounding maybe? Hey it is your life ..ask questions.. and go with your gut.

I think the deepness of his desired reconnection depends upon the circumstances of your breakup. If you have friendly feelings toward him, be a friend. If it's too awkward or painful, tell him so.

Be careful! I hope things work out.

Well, here is the question, who broke it off, and who was in the wrong? That should answer it for you. If you broke it off, talk to him about what you didnt like about him, and possibly you might realize that you made a mistake. Other than that, ask him why he is trying to keep in contact.
