Eat a lot of healthy foods and dont exercise as much .If you want muscle weight then run a mile everyday. Eat really late then right after you eat a big meal, go to sleep. Thats how many americans gain weight. Good Luck!

I had this problem too. Make sure to include lots of carbs in your diet. Use resistance weight training to develop your leg and arm muscles. Start light and work your way up. The key is to keep your flexibility as you bulk up. The more calories you take in from carbs the more energy your body will have to produce bigger muscles.
On top of that, the rest is just genetics. Some people are blessed with physical attributes that are easy to obtain. The rest of us have to work hard just to look proportional.
Good luck.

You need to eat enough calories that your body does not metabolize your own tissue for food.
You need to eat enough protein and other nutrients to handle new tissue growth and repair.
You need to apply resistance training to your muscle groups.
If you're in school... ask one of your physical education teachers to help you, that's what they are there for. I suggest you also go to various bodybuilding sites, there are forums and trainers that are more then willing to help you get started.
However, if you're very young, ask for some advice, if you try to start resistance training (weight lifting) too early, you could potentially damage your body while it's still growing.
Otherwise, be careful, and good luck.

Start lifting weights (with good form). Also increase the protein in your diet. To actively build you should be eating about 0.8 g protein for every pound of body weight. That is alot of protein.

Hot buttered popcorn worked for me, I gained a ton of weight eating it in front of the tv every night...it's the butter that does it.
