Yeah the guy who said "darkthirty" is too late is right.13 year olds should be inside by dark. That works out to be about 8 oclock.People who let there 13 year olds out until 11 and than wonder why they end up pregnant or a jouvenile delinquent and in trouble with the law are just stupid. The only way i think i 13 year old should be out after dark is if she is in your yard.

Ok im 13 and in my view it depends on if it is during school week or weekends. If it is on a school day then 8 oclock would be a very good time, if it is on the weekends then 9-9:30 and check on her to make sure she is safe. The key thing is making sure she is safe at all times. Hope this helps anwser your question

I'm a mother of 3 young women ages 23, 21, & 17. When they started high school, they all had a curfew of 9:30p.m. on weekdays and 11:00p.m. on weekends until they were out of high school. But, at 13 my children were inside when the street lights came on. They hated it then, but they laugh about it now. I tell them I have to look after you even when you don't look after yourself, and I can only do this if I know where you are.

At 13... I would say no later than 10, but preferably 8 or 9. I say, whatever grade they are in is how late they should be allowed to stay out... so if she's in 8th grade, in by 8 pm... if she is in 9th grade, in by 9. (but for the weekends add one extra hour)

This mostly depends on the maturity of your 13 year old and can they be trusted.
A reasonable time for a school night would be no later then 8:30 because she needs to get ready for school the next day. On weekends I'd say 10 p.m. BUT this depends on where you live also...is it a safe neighbourhood?....is your child under adult supervision?.... What are they doing?... who are her friends? All these things need to be considered. When in doubt ask your daughters friends parents what time their child has to be home and judge by that.

Kids with licenses are allowed out til midnight at least in PA. They are 16, I think no later than nine maybe 10 depending on what is going on is acceptable. Some kids are lucky to be out with friends alone at that age. I would definitely say no later than 10. I'm only 23 but I know what my parents would have done.

umm, she's 13, so using some good old fashioned common sense would do.
I'm sure your city has a curfew for those under the age of 18, I would make sure she was home and inside at least 30 minutes before the set curfew.

I am 22 now and you know it is funny because at 13 I think my curfew was later than it was when I was 17. Again it depends on where you live, who her friends are and what she is doing? I would say on a school night 9pm and 10pm on the weekend.

8 on school nights and 9 on weekends if you know her friends and know exactly where she is --- with phone #'s. Things have changed since you grew up. I was allowed to do things at 14 I probably shouldn't have been but maturity isn't an issue anymore.......Ugly is everywhere now!
