yeap, and in terms of friendship and family too.
im guessing you are in one or you are gonna go through one and your wondering if its worth it?
well if thats right, long distance relationships with me dont last in the end becuase of these basic traits.
- i dont get to see them anyomore, only in writing, email just hear them on the phone.
- over time distance causes my feelings to fade
- they will move on or their feelings fade
- the times in which you contact each other reduce.
- i like physical contact, kissing ect...

so yeah, my luck with long distance dont seem to work. but thats only because im the type of guy that isnt suited for it. i like to see my girl, be with her, kiss her, love her, and i cant do that when shes a million miles away
- hope that helps - dave.

Have had, and am currently in one.

The hello sex is great. And it is so much easier to be crazy about someone you only see a few days at a time.

But all the time alone isn't worth it if there is no hope for a light at the end of the tunnel.

Be very wary at long distance relationships.

Oh, geez, yes. Talk about a waste of time, money and emotional energy! Because the day comes when a couple has to decide "Do you move closer to me or I move closer to you?" and sometimes neither of you is willing or able to make that move.

Plus you only get to see the part of them that they want to show you. Sure, they may say that they're out donating time to the community this weekend when, really, they're boffing their next door neighbor or conducting a ritual sacrifice.

I've tried. It never worked out. But, on the other hand, my parents were penpals first, then involved in a long distance relationship and eventually married. But for my Dad's death a few months ago, they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last month.

I was, I ended up marrying him.
If you're both mature enough to be faithful and you're really committed and in love, it can work, but you both have to be in it, for the long haul, otherwise it'll never last.
