How long must you really be with someone when you finally say, "I love you" to that person? Is there a time limit, or do you just go with what your gut and heart are telling you? And if you do does this mean your a romantic or does it mean your the type of person who just says it without feeling??

Hey Sara,
When will he ask me about my day? When will he say: "Is there anything that you want that I can do for You"? When will he introduce me to his best friends? When will he give me his 100% attention and listen to what I am telling him and hold me without motives and can just be with me without having to talk and just.... be together???
Tell you what. Since your question can lead to so many others, you start.
Tell him that you are "In LIKE" with him. My best friend 20 years ago, (who was gay, and I am not) told me that and I use it alot.
If the bf/gf is sane he/she should not freak! Loving someone and being IN Love with someone is different. Know and understand the difference. If your gut is telling you that the other will freak out at the LOVE word, then just use the In Like phrase instead.
Or, use the "I care for you" phrase. You just need to prepare yourself for.... aaaa... Well, Sara, just remember there is a lot of sadness in the world.
The time limit on when is not applicatable. It is 1 minute or 1 whatever. You need to decide how much your time is worth to discover it. As you get older the the time frame will get shorter cuz your friends all seem to be there. Yeah, but are they happy?
Good luck girl,
Hugs to you,
Jeffrey

Always say what you feel but be SURE of your feelings first. Usually you get a good sense of what your partner feels and know whether he/she will feel the same. I also caution you to not confuse love with infatuation and/or sexual desire.

PS - I would be incredibly turned off if 1. I knew a girl has said that to more then 2 people in the last year or so. 2. if she said it within the first month of casual dating.

You say it when you feel it and are ready to share it with that person. I loved my bf for a while before I told him. I was scared of what I was feeling because my prior relationship had been so abusive. It can be scary to share those feelings but do it if you think that person will not use them to hurt you.

You will know when the time is right, it just takes time, the first week is not appropriate, but after a couple of weeks it is fine, you have to really think would it be sinsere, or not.

I'd stick to "when the time feels right".
There's no time limit per se, but I'd try not to let it be too soon into the relationship.

When you in your heart feel ready, but if you say it too soon it mite creep them out. I'd say you mite feel it sooner, but wait at least 2 months since youve been together.

If you feel it than don't be afraid to say it. What are you afraid of? Honesty is always the best policy. You should be able to look into their eyes and tell if they feel it too.

there's no certain time to say "i love you" first to the person you love. You only say it when you actually feeling it in the moment.
