I'm trying to improve both my arm and leg flexibility because I got a flexibility test coming up soon and my flexibility is awful, I can't touch my feet with my hands without bending my knees.

Try yoga, but get a good teacher, and remember you shouldn't force your body to do anything, if you can't reach your toe without bending you knees it's OK, what matters is that you improve, even if it's a bit only. I had some really incompetent teachers who had this "no pain no gain" idea, and about 40% of the students in my year had injuries because of their tests

stretch. It takes time to build flexibility. Try Yoga, it's fun, relaxing and helps build strenght, flexibility and balance

I stretch in the shower everyday. I let the hot water loosen up my hamstrings and my back. then i stretch. Plus the shower is sloped down to work to your advantage. In two months i could touch the floor with my palms down.

Stretch when you wake up and stretch when you go to bed, and you will soon notice you can stretch farther
