It depends on the brand of food you plan on feeding as well as whether you are feeding dry or canned.
You could spend $10-$50 a month depending on the method and brand(s) you choose. You also have to take treats into consideration.
Good luck.

You feed your dog according to weight and your toy poodle doesn't weigh that much so a large bag should last a month or two and will only cost between $8-20 depending on which food you choose to feed him/her.

Considering how small toy poodles are, I would think the cost to feed one would be inexpensive, even if you are purchasing the best quality of dog food on the market.
By the way have you looked at the human grade quality dog foods on the market that can increase your dogs health and your dogs life expectancy? Please check out Dick Van Pattens dog food or Paul Newmans Own dog food and read the labels. You will find that the portein sources (Beef, chicken, bison, salmon, white fish, lamb, deer, buffalo, duck and others) are free range animals with no antibiotics or growth hormones in their bodies and the vegetables and grains have been organically grown with out the use of pesticides and or chemical fetilizers.
If you want to feed your dog the best food available today, check out these human grade quality foods and see how health your dog stays and how long your senior aged dog stays spry. many dog owners claim that their dogs lives have been extended as much as 3 to 5 years after feeding this high quality diet. Isn't your pampered pet worth the few extra dollars to feed them the best quality food available on the market, even better then homemade since these manufacturers make sure that all the vitamins, amino acids and minerals are contained in the dog food, sometimes when we make our own dog food we could easily miss one amino acid or a mineral that is essential to a dogs health.
To get the best of both worlds, if you like to cook for your dog, split the dogs meal 1/2 home made and 1/2 human quality commercial food or one meal home made and the second daily meal one of the commercially available human quality dog foods.
I also recommend that you use equal portions of dry and wet food. And the two brands that I recommended are available at Petco and Pet Smart stores and also on their own web sites on the internet. You can sign up for an auto ship program and have the dog food and dob treats sent to your doorstep as often as you would like.
Enjoy your toy poodle.

Toy Poodles aren't very expensive to feed. Because of their size they don't require a lot of food.
Make sure to buy a good quality food. The better the food the less you'll need to feed. Stay away from foods such as Ole'Roy which are very poor quality. Also stay away from foods such as IAMS/Eukanuba, Science Diet, Pedigree, Alpo, etc. These foods are full of cheap fillers...corn, wheat, soy, beet pulp and by products. Look for foods taht have a meat source as at least the first 2 ingredients.

Depends what you want to feed him, it is just like if you want to have a Hamburger or Caviar, but a normal diet should not cost more than a $ a meal.
