alot of people on this site seem to think i have a problem with the soldiers in iraq because i said that rape and murder of innocent women and children are a daily occurence, i don't, this is a problem caused by certain individuals and i said it because nothing was being done about it at that time. my problem is with the american goverment and those who are too ignorent to judge information from a third party, or others who are merely triing to inform people of what they know. i do not have a problem with those who support the goverment even if they have taken the time judge this information, not just dismiss it for what ever reasons they may have. i do not believe that the war in iraq is legitimate in any way, however this does not reflect my opinion of the men and women fighting in iraq, they are sent there and execute orders, they have no choice at that point. most of these people are honorable, courageous individuals, whome i have alot of respect for

my questions are, why don't people take the time to read thru these documents are such evidence before coming to a conclusion? why do people dismiss this as liberal propaganda evry time? and finally why do people get upset when i ask these questions even in the most polite manner i possibly can, just because they know my opinion?

the most important thing is:

why don't these people actually try to explain why it is they support the war anyways?

why don't these people try to explain their political point of views instead of claiming that i am a lib., (i am not even an american citizen, i do not support kerry, or any other person in particular, i just have a problem with bush) ?

warren, the terrorist acts cannot be justified and i cannot support them,
they are criminals as well, but that doesn't justifie the issues that i am talking about, if your not gonna at least try to understand on some level what i mean then don't bother answering, you don't have to agree, just don't bull **** !!!

and the pictures of panties on the head thing, thats just what the u.s. goverment doesn't censor, i've seen canadian documents and reports of much worse things including the execution of a mans familly infront of him, in order to get some kind of revenge i guess, i've seen with my own eyes reports of 2 canadian troops walking in on an american raping an iraqi girl (aged 17), the u.s. goverment has extreme control over what you get to see, freedom of the press only goes so far these days especially if its a matter of "national security" as they like to say, and all of a sudden its ok to sweep it under the rug because people believe it really is a matter of national security.

The truth is we are all at war. None of us wants to be in Iraq. None of us wants to lose any more soldiers fighting for our freedom. We are all frustrated, angry, and saddened by what has happened. I'm not a big fan of being in Iraq and I don't get a kick out of seeing middle-eastern folks in my country. But, on the other hand, I'm a citizen of the US. I stand by the decisions the President makes even if I disagree with them. If he says middle-eastern people can be here, then so be it. If he says it's time for war, then I'm ready. People make mistakes whether they are soldiers, elderly citizens, you name it! I'm sure there is a lot going on in Iraq that we haven't heard about. The fact is, we aren't the ones that will defuse that bomb. The military has a chain of command intact and problems will be taken care of accordingly. Let's not make this another Vietnam. Let's embrace our soldiers when they return home. Let's remember the dead. We should be proud that this gentleman is allowed to say what he feels. We should feel even better that we can agree/disagree with him.
I'm a free man. My entire family is free. The country I live in is free. A lot of blood has spilled for that right and I'm not ready to give it up. Are you?

You don't have a problem with our military the same as Osama doesn't have a problem with it.

These guys are risking their lives for your sorry ***, and you accuse them of "rape and murder" with absolutely no evidence.

Addition-- you want images of abuse--these will change your life and your idea of abuse:

I've seen the standing around with panties on their head or naked pictures from our side. Sorry, not the same or even close. And the charges were pending before it hit the news so the idea that the military was doing nothing is absurd. You guys just want to blam the US first. There are always going to be times when lines are crossed in war and it has been really few. Your job is to kill people and break things. Lines get pretty grey. They all deserve every benefit of the doubt.

Every day? What evidence do you have of this? The terrorists who are trained to accuse American soldiers of this (found in captured documents). No I do not trust them as a third unbiased party. Just admit to being the pro terrorist liberal propagandist and apologist that you are. I have no respect for someone like you, grow a pair and admit who you

Rape and murder is not a daily occurrence in Iraq(at least not by US troops). I do not know everything about the Iraq war, but I do know that something had to be done.

People can be ignorant when it comes to their pride. Most people get offended to easily and want to be the first to run their mouths to people who they think they will never have to confront. It is easy to talk big on a computer than it is to your face.
Just speak your peace, it is a free country. Even though most people want to censor others while they talk big.
