It's acceptable because there's passages in the Bible that talk about brothers marrying their brother's widows.

you don't have to worry about this, we are parted by death, your obligation ends there. in heaven we will not be given in marriage. see below: you can read the following in context starting at verse 23.

matt.22:30 30At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.

If your deceased husband really loved you, I would think he'd be happy that you've found love again. For this reason, I doubt that you'll have anything to worry about when you get to heaven and reunite with your first husband.

There is nothing in the bible for that question. Besides doesn't the bible teach that we will not know our husbands or wives, etc...when we get to heaven? That we will forget all our earthly ways of life and just go from living our lives to instantly singing and praising God?

You will know your 1st hubby, and he'll know you.

It says in Thessalonians, that there is a great cloud of witnesses above us. Sorry about your loss.

Peace be with you.

Don't worry about it and focus on your happiness now. Why does it matter. If your 1st husband loved you then he would be happy you moved on.
