It depents on what type of hair you have of course. But if you have normal hair like I do, then you should be fine. I use flat iron everyday and my hair is fine. Just use good conditioner (preferably use conditioners for dry/damaged hair) and also use a protectve cream (I like thermasilk straight & smooth leave-in cream) before you style your hair. Oh and I use a ceramic plated flat iron and it's so much better than the metal one I used to use...

I agree with the type of hair thing, but it also depends on what kind of flat iron you get. I reccomend the ionic straighteners. It doesn't damage your hair NEARLY as much.

sure it's OK. just make sure your hair is very well conditioned and you use a heat protector on the hair before you flat iron.

define 'ok'...but doing anything to ur hair damages it, even like over washing it...theres no way to avoid it...but if u want to iron ur hair, get a ceramic plated one, because those to less damage than metal or any made out of other materials
