Just wondering because my dad has it and I was wondering if I could develop it.

not the "genetics" your thinking of. yes, you may have gentics that will leave you more apt to get it if the same atmosphere is introduced, but it's highly unlikely.

MS is probably viral in nature. BUT, there seem to be more outbreaks of MS the closer you are from the equator and this also happens to be where more mercury is found.

The scientists are still trying to figure it out, but they do know that MS works with negative ionic properties. (auto-immune)

well, u have a higher risk then a non relalted person.
But its still not real high. I have MS and I don't worry about my dd
getting it cuz it is a real low percentage risk.

MS is so varied.

Probably not-answer to your question.

Some groups get it more than others. Women more than men.

I personally would not worry about getting it. Enjoy life.

people who have parents with ms are more likely to get it themselves, but it isn't definite. if you start getting signs, get a spinal tap and an mri and go from there.
