The book is black with gold or bronze trim and clasp. It is 4" by 2 .5". Is was printed at Oxford: at the University Press.

Check http://www.ex-librisbooks.co.uk they are THE experts on books, you could also check your yellow pages for an antique dealer who specializes in books - they may charge a small fee to evaluate it, but it would be worth it. Depending on the quality of the book, these are fairly valuable.

You might want to check out EBay. There's a load of people selling the Book of Common Prayer from various years, even pre-1852. Some are selling the Episcopal Hymnals.
