I think if you're any kind of a man you shouldn't place your hands on a woman like that at all.
And if you have, or do, she should have enough self-assurance to leave you.

No body should be putting their hands on anyone else including women hitting men. I would not tell a man that he should hit a woman back, but a woman should not be surprised if it does happen, you can't just go around hitting because you are mad and not expect somebody to hit you back .

If you have been slapped for no reason at all, slap her back, but usually a woman won't slap a man for no reason
