I just purchased rtf laminate doors in antique white but my cabinets are white laminate. I have not been able to find paint to match the cabinets so was going to paint the new doors white. That is, if they can be painted.

Another helpful step is to use a chemical sander to rough up the finish. Ask someone at your local paint supply store.

prime them first with a good primer, i reccomend x-i-m, then let it dry for a few hours and topcoat the doors...i am a painting contractor and have painted dozens of laminate doors, the key is using a good primer...the x-i-m mentioned earlier is 50 dollars a gallon but its worth it.as it will bond to the laminate surface very well.
