Curious on what the breed has to say for the temperment

Any dog has the potential to bite.

Siberian Huskies are very high energy, and I've heard they can be small animal aggressive (cats). Cat aggressive does not equal people aggressive, or dog-dog aggressive, however.

They do need a lot of exercise, so a large fenced in yard is recommended. A high fence, preferably, since they tend to be escape artists.

These are working dogs and have high energy. Will you have the time to work off some of this energy (exercise: walking or running, etc.)?

I would recommend getting "Cesar's Way" by Cesar Millan. He is the Dog Whisperer from the National Geographic Channel.

He is awesome with dogs...his first season is out on DVD.

Never heard about them biting, but I have heard that they tend to run away whenever they can. Also heard that you have to be careful about how much water you give them. They are very loving dogs, though, and I have heard good with kids.

I'd recommend you get a golden retriever, sheltie, german shepherd, orspringer spaniel they have great temperments and are eager to please their masters.
